Privacy Policy

Status: DRAFT. Last drafted October 30, 2026. Product and operator: Ringmello. Contact: support@ringmello.com.

Who this covers

This draft describes how Ringmello, the software provider, handles information when a local service business uses the product, and when someone texts with that business through Ringmello. The business is the customer. Callers and texters are the business’s clients. This draft is not in effect until the owner publishes a final policy.

Information we handle

Depending on how the product is used, that can include:

  • Account details such as name, email, and sign-in records.
  • Details the business enters: location, hours, services, prices, staff labels, and the answers it wants texted.
  • Call and message content needed to recover a missed call, continue the conversation, and show the business an inbox.
  • Technical logs needed to run, secure, and debug the service.

Callers should not text medical details or other sensitive information. Ringmello is not a medical records system.

How it is used

Information is used to provide the missed-call receptionist, keep accounts secure, support the business, and meet legal duties. It is not used to build a marketing list for other companies.

Mobile information

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See the SMS Terms.

Who else sees it

Vendors that host, deliver, or secure the service may process information on Ringmello’s instructions. They are not authorized to use mobile information for their own marketing. A business can see the conversations for its own account. Ringmello does not sell personal information.

How long it is kept

Account, business, and message records are kept while the business uses Ringmello and for a limited period afterward to complete the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. The owner will set retention periods before this policy is published.

Choices

A texter can reply STOP to opt out of messages or HELP for help. An owner can email support@ringmello.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of account information. Some records may be kept where the law requires it.

Children

Ringmello is a business product. It is not directed at children, and businesses should not use it to collect information from children.

Changes

A published policy would replace this draft. Until then, this page is a draft for owner and legal review only.
